ABOUT
Emily and Lisa, the founders of Golden Pines Interiors, crossed paths while staging homes in the Seattle area. Their shared passion for decorating and designing spaces blossomed when they began collaborating and working together. As they continued, they started to get more and more requests to decorate and remodel homes. It was this growing interest that ultimately led to the establishment of Golden Pines Interiors.
LISA
Lisa Stanislawski has always had a love for design and interiors. After graduating from Washington State University, Lisa started out as an event planner and graphic designer for a female owned business and always knew she wanted to start her own one day. When Lisa purchased her first condo, she renovated the space and realized she loved flipping spaces. Later on when Lisa and her fiance were house hunting and hoping to find a home that would allow them to stay in Seattle, they fell in love with a 1914 craftsman fixer upper. Lisa learned how to pull permits and did the design work herself. She turned a very outdated house into their dream home. As people saw the spaces she designed, they started to ask for help with their places. Her passion for interior design then became her career!
EMILY
Emily Aylett's design journey began when she nannied for a family with artistic energy - deeply immersed in graphic design and architectural photography. Amidst the chaos of playdates and bedtime stories, she found herself captivated by the home that surrounded her. Inspired, Emily decided to dive headfirst into the design world, choosing to apprentice under a seasoned designer. She was intrigued by this designer's eccentric taste and unconventional methods. The hands-on experience proved to be a catalyst for Emily's creativity that led her to pursue a formal education in Interior Design at Bellevue College. There she honed her skills and built a solid foundation in design principles. Whether she's working on a large home renovation or tweaking the layout of a cozy living space, Emily takes time to understanding her clients' unique needs.
MEET THE OFFICE DOGS
OAKLEY
Meet Oakley, our rescue Pomchi with a soul as fiery as his favorite heated blanket. Oakley likes to make his presence and opinions heard in our team meetings. He has a penchant for interrupting them with his enthusiastic barks or asking for more food. He may be small, but his presence is hard to ignore! Oakley makes even the longest work days fun!
WINNIE
Winston, affectionately known as Winnie is our canine companion with an endearing personality and sweet disposition. Winnie is not just a four-legged colleague; he's a cherished member of our team. You'll often find him nestled in a cozy spot at your feet. Winnie is a true sweetheart. When he's not busy adding his paw-spective to our design ideas, Winnie can be found charming the team with his lovable affection.
TUCKER
Here's Tucker, a standout member of our interior design team. Originally thought to be a dachshund puppy, Tucker surprised us by growing into a compact but thick-chihuahua mix, resembling a canine version of a football player. Don't be fooled by his small size; Tucker is a master at commandeering snacks and has a talent for making them disappear in the blink of an eye. His love for food is only surpassed by his love for belly rubs, and he's always ready to trade a wagging tail for a tasty treat.
SUNNY
Introducing Sunny, our youngest resident mischief-maker. Hailing from Korea, Sunny made the journey from rescue dog to a beloved family member. Sunny will usually greet you with excitement, but don't be upset if he gives you the side-eye; beneath his uncertainty lies a playful heart that could melt even the grayest Seattle sky. Rainy days in the PNW have been a new adventure for Sunny, who is still mastering the art of getting his paws wet. While he may be a little derpy (but shh, don't tell him we said that), he's the undisputed master of starting playtime.
